I am doing three posts inside on one today. I've been a bit busy so I got a break and decided to finally take the time to post some things.

Isn’t this photo of our President and First Lady amazing? I am so proud of their accomplishments as well as the way the country is rallying around them with full support. Here’s a very poignant quote from President Obama that I found especially inspiring.

“We need to internalize this idea of excellence. Not many folks spend a lot of time trying to be excellent.”

Just a random question…does anyone know what fragrance the President or First Lady wears? I tried to Google it, but found no answers. Needless to say, they both look like they would smell great.

New Arrivals

I love coming home to see a black box awaiting me at my door. My new arrivals include two MAC lipsticks in Media (one for myself and one for the kit), a pump for my Hyper Real Bronze FX Foundation, and the new Redhead MSF. I have always steered clear of darker lipsticks because I have this phobia they will dry out my lips. However, the lipstick was very moisturizing. It’s an intense reddish-purple with a satin finish…definitely worth a try if you are itching to try a darker color. The MSF is described as a gold to salmon pink. I really like it but wish it showed up a little more on me. Instead of using it as a blush, like my Petticoat, I’ll use it to highlight and for that all over glow.
