Tonight I decided to take a break from my normal hair washing routine to try a product sample that I have had since before Christmas. I got the sample as a part of an order I placed from Ulta.com. Anyway, the product is Ojon's Restorative Hair Treatment. After trying it, I can honestly say that I have not been this excited about a hair product since I discovered Dominican conditioners years ago. The instructions are a bit long but all you really do is rub the product in your hands until in softens into a creamy oil, then rub in all over. For best results, it advises you to leave it on for 20 minutes. Although I shampooed and applied the product to towel dried hair, it says that you can apply it to dry hair and shampoo after you rinse it out. I shampooed once I rinsed as well and my hair had a great gloss without being oily. I applied my usual leave in (Infusium 23) dried and flat ironed my hair...was thoroughly pleased with my hair...soft and shiny results. You can even apply a tiny more when the hair is dry as an additional step. I can't wait to get the full sized product this week. If you don't care for products that have an earthy...sandlewood-like/coffee-like smell, then you won't like this. However, I actually like the scent...and best of all the restorative treatment has lots of natural ingredients to strengthen the hair.
