After Meeting Mark...

Hope eveyone had a lovely weekend. I had a good one...went out to dinner and to hear some live music on Friday at one of my fav spots. I wore a dress that I bought a few months ago on the sale rack at F21 but had never worn, paired with a purse from Zara and my gladiator like sandals that I forgot to include in the pic. I love this dress because it has little sequins sewn all on it and the colors are very warm. Here's the outfit.

On to how I met Mark.

Well I'm no stranger to using an occasional Avon product here and there, but I finally got the chance to try Mark, their line devoted to young women who really make their mark on the world. Mark's After Glow blush first caught my eye on Becky's blog. She said it was a close dupe for Nars Orgasm blush...one of my favs that I use on clients.

my new bangs...wondering if I should go shorter

Since the blush is only $6, I thought I'd give it a try...and I'm glad I did. It will replace the cream blush that I normally wear or I may use it to highlight darker blushes that I already have. Only pob is I was sent the Glowing Mosaic Blush in Hush Baby instead of After Glow. It's still pretty...probably the other one would show up more on me though. This one is more like a highlighter but the quality seems really good and it's looks great on my skin. I had to purchase the Snap To It Mini Custom Color Palette to fit the blush in (only $4). Based on the reviews I also ordered the Watermelon Mist Body Spray ($10), which smells heavenly and will def go in my purse, and the Light Bright Ligthen & Depuff Eye Gel ($8). The eye gel feels really light and has a potent blend of lotus flower to reduce the look of fatigue, as well as cucumber to deflate the puff. Also in it is Kiwi, which serves as an antioxidant. I'm currently using Daggett & Ramsdell Collagen Filler Revitalizing Eye Treatment...so I will probably continue to use it at night and the Mark on in the day. So all in all...I'm convinced that meeting Mark. was a great decision. Flipping through the enclosed catalog, next I think I'll try the lipgloss Sugared Almond paired with the pro glimmer in Peek (both together are $11). They're called Hook Ups and when you buy two, you get the connector free.

So if you aren't sure whether you will like Mark...just give it a try and checkout Becky's E-Boutique I'm glad I did.
