Randomness...Drugstore Finds, Pink Rebel, and Geo Lenses

I have been away from blogging for way too long. This post is somewhat random but I wanted to get in a few more things than I post normally. Recently, maybe it's because I have been spending way too money on other items, that I have been concentrating on finding really affordable make up at the drugstore. Here are some products that I found and really like. Oh...and I also wanted to say thank you to my new followers for following!!! I will be announcing my first contest very soon...when I hit 50 followers.


Almay Bright Eyes is an eye base and concealer in one. It is suppose to prime and depuff and contains marine extracts, white tea and peptides, plus optical diffusers. I used it as a base for my eyeshadow and under the eye and it seemed to work really well.







Loreal Hip Blendable Blushing Creme in Tickled

If you're looking for a more vibrant blush for the fall...then this is for you. It almost looks like a cheek stain instead of a blush.

Loreal Hip Eyeshadow Duo in Gunmetal

Love these colors. They are vibrant, yet can look subtle when applied lightly for a day look.

Milani Minerals Compact Makeup in Honey Beige

This is my new alternative to my Mac powder. I will still buy it but for around $5 the coverage is pretty much the same and it picks up my yellow undertones prefectly without oxidizing like Mac sometimes does on me.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in Coffee Shimmer

This lipstick is the best. The color is so pretty, it's moisturizing, and it last for a really long time. What more could a girl want.


Mac Lustre Drops in Pink Rebel

This product came out with the Mac Style Warriors Collection. So I had to do a bit of searching to find it. I mixed this with my usual liquid mineral foundation Maybeline's Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Liquid Foundation to give me a dewy, luminous finish to my foundation.

Huggies Nourishing Lotion with Mango, Coconut, and Aloe
I first read about this product on Ms. Debra Mayes' YT channel.
And since I've used baby products on myself before, I thought I'd give it a shot. The only problem is that although this is a drugstore product you can hardly find it anywhere. I ordered my off Amazon.com. It was a little pricey for drugstore lotion...around $10 but the bottle is really big and should last a long time. The feel of this lotion is wonderful. It feels very moisturizing and creamy with a nice, not overpowering sweet scent that doesn't linger.

Pure curiousity led me to order my first pair of Geo Lenses. Here's what I look like with them on and without them.

I'm convinced that I will like the look of Geos once I get the right pair. These make me look strange...and I'm not use to having darker eyes. I'll keep searching although it's hard because the selection is limited for those with an astigmatism like myself. If you have suggestions, please let me know.
