For $49, Sephora is offering a set featuring the 5 best-selling MAKE UP FOR EVER must-haves. I have wanted to try the setting powder and liner for a while so at this price it made sense to get the set and be able to try a few more MUFE products.
What it does:
The Best of MAKE UP FOR EVER Holiday Set has all the essentials to complete a perfect holiday look. Enhance the skin's texture and prepare it for makeup application with HD Microperfecting Primer. Follow with HD Microfinish Powder to soften the appearance of imperfections while completely evening out the complexion. Define your eyes with Aqua Eyes, a two-in-one eyeshadow and liner pencil that adheres to the eye lids and resists water—even under the most extreme conditions. Curl, volumize, and lengthen your lashes with Smoky Lash mascara, and instantly remove makeup on even the most sensitive eyes with Sens'Eyes.
This set contains:
- 0.04 oz Aqua Eyes in Mat Black 0L
- 0.23 oz Smoky Lash
- 0.35 oz HD Microfinish Powder
- 0.5 oz Travel HD Microperfecting Primer
- 0.84 oz Sens'Eyes Waterproof Sensitive Eye Cleanser

A few weeks ago, Hautelook.com featured a sale from DDF Skincare. For those of you unfamiliar with this brand, it was developed by a dermatologist and dermatologic cosmetic surgeon in the early 90s. The letters stand for Doctor's Dermatologic Formula. Although I have never tried it, it was on my list to must get products since I am a firm believer of prevention when it comes to anti-aging products. And since none of my current eye creams contain SPF, I wanted to get their eye cream to use in the day. It retails for $50, but the sale allowed me to get it for $25. According to DDF's website, the DDF Protective Eye Cream is a lustrous, lightweight daytime eye treatment fortified with essential fatty acids and humectants to moisturize and help minimize the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Broad spectrum SPF helps protect the fragile eye area from future UV damage. It claims to protect the fragile eye area and minimizes the look of fine lines. I haven't used it for longer than a week...but so far, so good.

Steelo Cosmetics, first brought to my attention by Ren, has been on my list of items to try for some time now. However their old ordering process for make up artist was a bit strange. You had to email them and they would send you a request for payment for the items you said you wanted in the email. Recently, they have updated this process so make up artists can just order directly from the website. So this change prompted me to order some items for my kit...and a few for myself.

Here's what I'm wearing:
Face
Moisturizing Primer (Steelo)
MD 10 Flawless Coverage Mineral Foundation (Steelo)
Perfect Finish Setting Spray (Steelo)
Eyes:
UDPP
Matte Beige as highlight and along lid (Steelo)
Gunsmoke On-the-Loose Shimmering Powder in inner eye(Loreal)
Drama E/S on crease and outer v(Steelo)
White Eye Kohl on inner rim of bottom lid (Steelo)
Artistic License Technakohl Liner on top and bottom lid (MAC)
Black Eye Kohl blended on bottom lid (Steelo)
Eve Pearl Eyelash Glue
Ardell Demi Wispies
Smoky Lash Mascara (MUFE)
Cheeks:
Cafe Rose Blush (Steelo)
Lips:
Cocoa liner (NYX)
Utopia L/S (Steelo)
Pink Pearl L/G (Steelo)
Brow:
Brow Fantasy in Brunette (Revlon)
Okay so you can't try DSK Jewelry and not try the esquisite jewelry by Michelle Chang. I love her pieces because of the quality of craftsmanship and their delicate nature. I got a puffed heart necklace...will look great layered with a simple solitaire pendant.

FYI...stayed tuned because I will be announcing my first contest later this week! I'm really excited.
