The first time I heard about the
Napoleon Perdis make up line was through Youtube (
Askmemakeup). It was started by a leading make up artist from Australia in 1993. I got the City Center Collection, which consists of the Peep Show Madame Curl Curl Mascara and Palette Patrol. The mascara is described as the "ultimate eye opener" because it lengthens and actually curls the lashes. The palette has three lipsticks ranging from light pink, to a sheer coppery pink, to a deep rose pink. The three eye shadows are a rich purplish brown that reminds me of MAC's Deep Damson, a pretty coral pink, and a whitish highlighter color. It also has two blushes. One is a orangy rust, the other is vibrant pink. All the colors are highly pigmented and blend extremely well. I highly recommend this collection for the spring and summer. The mascara really did seem to open my eyes, while lengthening and lifting them a great deal. Here are some pics of my look using the collection. I used the light pink lipstick mixed with a touch of the deep rose pink. As for the blush, I used the darker color as a contour and the pink on the apples of my cheeks.
