Her Salmon Concealer is made to neutralize dark blue undertones from the skin and eliminate green/grey raccoon eyes that yellow concealers can sometimes cause. I am going to make this a staple in my kit.
The second item I got is for tattoo cover up. I did a wedding where the bride and nearly all the bridesmaids had tattoos and this would have made my job easier. It’s by Mehron and is a creamy formula designed to cover the darkest tattoos, birthmarks, scars or other discolorations. It seems pretty easy to use. You just need to spot blend or stipple several colors to get a more natural look. Set with Colorset Powder or barrier spray. Then apply creamy makeup over Tattoo Cover (again with a patting motion). If desired, stipple several skin tones over the area and add freckles to blend with surrounding skin. For a matte finish, press Colorset Powder into final makeup design. Mist Barrier Spray over the area to seal and protect.

The item that I am so excited about is actually for me. It’s the Dollface prink train case that I first saw at Pursebuzz.com. It is a retro inspired pink case that is roomy enough to hold all the products that I usually use on a daily basis. And it will be perfect for travel. It has a removable tray and even came with a free purse. I guess it could be used as an evening bag or make up bag that you could use inside a larger purse. The best part was that the train case was $20 at BeautyChoice.com, and I received a $5 off code through email just because I put it in my shopping basket and didn’t order it until the next day.

I also ran across a sale at Rite Aid. Sally Hansen’s Gentle Plumping Lip Treatment gloss, which is regularly priced at $8.95, was just $2.23! So I picked them up in two shades. They are fairly sheer but can be worn over lipstick. I also got some Wet N Wild lip gloss that I can use on flower girls or whenever for only .74¢…so I picked up three.

The Russian wedding that I did on Saturday was so much fun. The bride looked so beautiful as did the bridesmaids, mothers, and flower girl. I airbrushed all but one bridesmaid. The whole event was so exciting because I’d never seen a Slavic wedding. Although I didn’t understand a thing, it was a beautiful ceremony and the bride couldn’t say enough good things about the make up. Here’s a picture of the groom’s sister and I will post others asap. The colors were chocolate and hot pink, so she wanted a really dark look using browns. She was really happy with the look. A few of the ladies wanted lashes with little crystal accents so their eyes really popped. Thankfully, the wedding was a success!
