1. Nourishing Coconut Milk Split Ends Mender by Organix

Coconut Milk Split Ends Mender contains a blend of organic weightless coconut oil and silk and keratin proteins designed to instantly repair split ends. It helps repair damaged hair and cuticles, and mend split ends.
I already have the Vanilla Silk Conditioner in the same line of products so I knew the quality of the product would be up to par and it would smell great. I am not that concerned with split ends, but I do use this when my hair is wet. It does seem to control frizz but most importantly for me it leaves my hair with a really great smell. Lately, I’ve been into lots of coconutty things. :)
2. Wet n Wild Eye Expressions Mega Eyes Cream Eyeshadow Palette in Avant Garde

I first heard about this product through Andreas Choice. Apparently, she has these palettes in every color, but I just decided to just try the Avant Garde one. I am not a fan of cream shadows, but I plan to use them as a base under other eyeshadows. One thing that is good about them is they are really creamy and blend well. There is also an illuminator in the palette that can be used as a highlight on the face.
3. Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve in Minted Rose

The next product is Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve in Minted Rose. The ingredients include cottonseed Oil, aromol, and essential oils blended in a special petrolatum base. Apparently, a lot of celebrities, magazines, and make up artist, swear by this stuff. It works as a lip moisturizer, natural-looking lip gloss and lipstick base, reliever of chapped and dry skin, blemishes, diaper rash, and detergent burns. I really like this lip salve because you can feel it moisturizing and that little extra kick from the mint. I actually thought it would deliver more color but it only provides a very light rose color on the lips. Because of it’s slightly greasier feel than your normal chap stick, I wear this one over my lipstick instead of underneath.
4. Body Shop’s Moringa Body Butter

I just had to give this product a try after hearing Julia (MizzChievous) rave about its smell. She was right…it smells sooo good. Moringa seed oil, shea butter, and cocoa butter are the essence of this tropical smelling, moisturizing concoction.
5. J & J’s Cooling Cucumber Melon Baby Powder

If you are like me and not a fan of the smell of baby powder, but still like the idea of baby powder, then try Johnson $ Johnson’s Cooling Cucumber Melon Baby Powder. It has a really nice, smell and is a great find for the summer as it provides instant and cooling protection from the effects of heat. I even read that it can be used as a hair powder (since it contains mostly cornstarch) to cut the shine between shampoos. Read about it here.
6. Exaggerate Rimmel Full Color Eye Definer

I bought this eyeliner in Pine. Just today I discovered that it has a tiny sharpener built into the bottom of the tube. I wonder how many other similar eyeliners I’ve bought that possibly had this feature built in and I didn’t know it was there. All in all this seems to be a great eyeliner, but the color isn’t that intense but perfect for days when I want to enhance my eye color and go for something other than my usual MAC Penultimate Eye Liner in Rapidblack
7. CVS Soft Skin Spray (similar to Avon’s Skin So Soft)

I happen to see this near the cash register and thought I’d try it since I am almost of my Skin So Soft Spray by Avon. I usually wear this when I go on picnics, to festivals, anything outdoorsy to ward off bugs. But I recently bought the Skin So Soft Gelled Body Oil and like it but was curious to see how the brand compares. This oil spray is definitely a keeper. The smell is much more subtle than Avon’s and it feels really rich without being greasy. I’ve been putting it on after my shower and love how soft my skin feels.
8. Ulta Lavender Hand and Body Cream and 9. Lipcolor in Just Kissed

I stumbled upon this hand and body cream along with the lipcolor below a few weeks ago. They were on sale 3 for $5. The hand cream smells really good if you are into lavender smells, and this limited edition lipstick is a pretty shimmering pink that is long lasting. Both of these are summer keepers.

10. Iman Luxury E/S Duo in Mysterious

I recently purchased an Iman E/S duo from Target (clearance) for $1.98! It retails for $7.99 so it was a steal. The color combo is great, a light soft luster pearl and a matte black. It's pictured above with the lipcolor.
I also wanted to show you my latest lash haul and a sample of mica(summit turquoise)
that I received from Coastal Scents with my order of containers.

I really ventured out this time with my lash order. Instead of ordering my usual Ardell's here's what I got

In case you are wondering what mica is, it’s the name of a group of natural occurring minerals. It can be opalescent, sparkling or completely matte.Mica powder is purified and crushed mica minerals. It is available in a variety of different colors that go from dazzling silver or gold tones to muted. Some Mica powders have a shimmer effect that makes them also called glitter. Mica powder can be used for Lipsticks, Foundations, Rouges, Fiber Paint, Faux Paint, Coloring Candles, Coloring Soaps, Coloring Paint, and Resin. Stampers use this in embossing and other heat set designs, add some mica powder to your clear, black or white embossing powders to create your own unique heat set colors. Glass Artists use this in fusing techniques and much more. Anyway, although the color looks whitish in the packet, it goes on a beautiful light turquoise that could be used in a variety of ways for a summer look.
