Paul & Joe Discovery

In my quest to discover new and better make up lines, I discovered the French-Japanese line Paul and Joe. Here's a little background on them. In 1995 Sophie Albou, a French designer, launced a men's clothing line named after her sons Paul and Joe. A few years later in 1996 she lauched a ladies clothing line, and then in 2002 the cosmetics line.

The product that I fell in love with was the Paul & Joe Face Color. The packaging is so cute and the peachy/pink containers are reminiscent of the elegant, delicate, and feminine trinkits your grandmother might have. I got the Face Color in the shade Moroccan Orange. It can be used anywhere on the face, but I'll mainly use it as a blush and highlighter. I purchased it from DermStore. Aside from free shipping, they also inluded a free one year subscrption of Allure magazine, and a small sample of Dr. Brandt's Lineless Lines No More Filler and Volumizer, and a sample tube of Skin Medica's Ultra Sheer Moinsturizer. Here's a peek at some of the products and what I got.

Here's me wearing the blush. It's my new ultimate favorite. The shimmer is very fine and color payoff is great, while looking natural at the same time.

Inspired by my new find here's a summery nail look with a twist. I used Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails as a base and top coat, Avon Speed Dry in Gilty Pink, and a LA Girl Flare nail color I picked up at Forever 21 in Clear/Silver on top of the Avon color. It actually looks a lot better in person.
