Ulta and MAC

I went to Ulta on last Friday and MAC to pick up some items for my kit and for a holiday party I attended that night. Originally, I went to get an Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner pencil in Yeyo. It is perfect for making that little shimmer in the inner corner of your eye. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find Ulta had the Velvet Rope collection for just slightly over the cost of a full size pencil. The collection includes travel sizes of the best selling 24/7 pencils. The shades include Yeyo, 1999, Zero, Bourbon, and Stash. I swatched them and was excited that they went on so smoothly. After many rubs…they stayed on…hence the name 24/7.

I also picked up some MAXalicious glitz lip glosses by Max Factor that I saw on the show Blush. Unfortunately, they were not in the cute squeeze tubes I expected but the colors are very pretty. But getting two for $5.99 made me soon forget this small. The colors are Bubble Bath and Golddigger. Lastly, from Ulta I picked up Two Faced Eyeshadow Insurance. I have wanted to get this for my clients because UDPP is too hard to get out of the container. After feeling the consistency of my new product, I am thinking it may slightly more blendable.



From MAC, I got the Smokey Eye palette…was 25% off! It consists of six shades…Scant, Gorgeous, Satin Taupe, Ambiance, Dark Devotion, and Carbon. I was rushing to get to the holiday party so I wasn’t as neat in applying them on myself but because I was going for a smokey look, it wasn’t obvious.
